Coronavirus Update

Updated: 27th May 2020

Further to our announcement earlier this month, unfortunately the advice from the UK government has changed, and therefore Bretonside Copy will now be re-opening on Monday 15th June 2020 rather than Monday 1st June as previously advertised. We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause.

We will initially be operating with reduced staff levels, so please be aware that you may not be able to deal with the member of staff you usually do, and orders may take longer than usual to process. As such, we would also advise you to send any enquiries to our main email address rather than the address of your usual contact.

We have a significant backlog of enquiries which have accumulated over the past few months, so if you have contacted us, please bear with us during this time and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

In the interests of maintaining social distancing, we would encourage customers to make enquiries and place orders via email or telephone where possible. The shop will be open, however we will have measures in place to limit the number of customers present in the shop at any one time, so please be prepared for our service times to be longer than usual. We would also ask that when visiting the shop, all customers take appropriate protective measures both in the interests of personal protection and for the protection of our staff. As a minimum, we would ask that all visiting customers wear some form of mouth and nose covering and remain in front of the designated counter space. Similarly, our staff will be provided with appropriate levels of PPE.

We would like to emphasise that this is our current plan of action. However, should government advice change in the meantime, we may be required to make revisions to this, in which case a further update will be provided on our website and facebook page.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding during these unusual times, and we look forward to serving you all again very soon.
