Based in Plymouth, Devon, at Bretonside Copy we pride ourselves on the quality and wide range of print services we provide but recognise that in order to maintain our standards we need to invest in leading edge technology.  This belief has led to the recent purchase of two new wide format printing machines.

In addition to our tried and tested Hewlett Packard 5500, our new Epson Stylus Pro 9880 and Canon IPF9000 machines have greatly enhanced our wide format colour printing capabilities. 

The Epson Stylus Pro 9880 large format 44" width printer, incorporates Epson's UltraChrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta for colour critical printing applications such as high quality photographic reproductions for the discerning professional and enthusiastic amateur. 

Incorporating Canon’s new 12 ink full colour LUCIA pigment ink system their flagship IPF9000 produces stunningly vivid poster prints at up to 60" wide with superb colour stability, ultra glossy feel and high abrasion resistance. A new one-inch dual print head gives jaw-dropping reproduction of 2400 x 1200 dpi whilst additional RGB colours ensure a wider colour gamut; grey and photo grey ensure better gradation, reduced granularity combined with high colour accuracy and consistency. The use of Canon's new LUCIA pigment inks ensure that prints are light fast for 120 years.

When used with appropriate Fine Art papers, both of the above machines can produce faithful reproduction 'Giclee' Fine Art prints of original art suitable for Limited Edition print runs.
